iPhone 3G Drama what to do?

problems with E-mails and Text messages and Dropping calls.
Go to ATT store the tell you to turn 3G off.
Call ATT they tell you to go to ATT store.
Go to ATT store they tell you to go to Apple Store.
I got a feeling they will tell me to wait in line.
After that I will talk to a apple tech.
He/She will tell me to give ATT a call.
ATT customer service will tell me to go to ATT store where i got this phone from.

ATT store people will tell me to go to apple store
and you know what the apple store Tech will say........ and on and on and on....
Verizon customer service is worst i was with them for 6+ years
