Our country was based on the rallying cry of "No Taxation Without Representation". I don't really care if teens vote, but if that right is denied to them, it is against our own laws to tax them, according to the Declaration of Independence. Quite frankly though, if they could vote, the ones that would take the time to register would be the ones who thought their vote through, and who actually cared about the election. A frighteningly low percentage of ADULTS vote, so who are they to say that teenagers don't care, or that they wouldn't make an educated decision. Do adults contemplate the pros and cons to each candidate? Please. They vote for whoever gives them the most welfare checks because they didn't work hard in highschool. There are adults walking around this world that are about as mature as "Hannah Montana", and no one is giving them a competancy test to see if they are eligible to vote.
