...after getting them? I went to the dentist a little over 20 hours ago, (about 2:30 p.m. yesterday, and it's about 11 a.m. now.) I got 2 shots of novocain, one in the top right side and one in the top left side. it took about 3 almost 4 hours for the novocain to wear off, and now my jaw is really sore. Every time that I'd rolled over last night, and touched my mouth to the pillow, I would almost cry from the pain. And today, I can only open my mouth about half the way that I'd normally be able to open it. It also hurts, bad, to smile, or even eat. Is this normal? If yes, how can I help get rid of the pain? (I've been taking some ibuprofen, but it doesn't seem to help, at all.)
