My son broke his key off in ignition lock. Called locksmith and he tried to remove but was unable to get out. I can get ignition switch for 35 at autozone but i hear that you have to have key programmed at dealership. Is this true, anything I can do to prevent taking to dealership? they want 280 dollars to fix. any help would be great
