ok i recenlty changed to t-mobile but i really liked the w580i ..so i would like to know how i can unlock it so i can place my t-mobile sim in it!!!! and would like it for free please!!!

I would suggest this site Onlinegsmunlock.com here you can get the unlock code and unlock your sony ericsson w580i easily. To get the code you have to mention which country is locked now,network provider and imei number. Then they send unlock code through email.
