    I have a 2002 Ford Explorer with 157k miles. I just found out the transmission...

    ...is gone. Shoiuld I replace? I drive 100 miles a day and work nights. I would hate for more problems to continue to occur.

    find a junk yard sells AND installs so they will warrenty it..--it should last the rest of life of your car. I would look for $500 total.
