    why do they use old dump sites as recreation fields once their use as a dump site

    has ended say after 20+years? the use wouldnt just be limited to recreation fields though

    and also what about all the hospital waste that is out into these landfills how enviromentally friendly, & safe is it to have these landfills either as recreational areas or housing estates?

    The land is usually pretty cheap. there is nothing enviromentally friendly about a regenerated dump site....time has certainly proven this.
