relationships with someone special? Don't u think if a parent lets his kid speak to them rather to any other friends abt his problems, it will help both the parent and the kid.The parents wont have to worry abt their kid being involved in relationship with wrong person and on part of kid he will feel good to share it and ease him out mentally. In all i feel it will strengthen the bond more and also help kids going on wrong way.Is it asking for too much?I would like ur views both positives and negatives as to how u feel?whats ur stand? and specially the parents please come up and have ur say..thanks

no, not really.. the kid should be making his/her own decisions at (assuming that he/she is a high schooler) parents shouldnt really enforce what THEY want and who THEY think is "the one" because its not their relationship (unless the relationship is potentially harmful to the kid). also, like all other learning experiences, how can a the kid "learn from mistakes" if they're restrained from making them? kids tend to get very defensive when they get into their "personal business."
