What Diesel truck engine gets the best gas mileage ?

The 5.9 cummins, it is the only 6 cylinder engine in the pack the other 2 are v-8s. I have been around all 3 for a time now and the`worst one is the ford and the gm one is second but better but the cummins is the most efficient.
