I am buying a dvd from america.How do i change the region of my dvd player to region

It depends what model you have, there are plenty of reference guides on the net how to do it.

Some require codes from your remote, some require hardware modifications.

easy way is to get a cheap multi-region player then it will play any region DVD.

find your player and follow the instructions CAREFULLY or it wont work
alternativly post the make and model and someone will post back how to do it...usualy something like turn dvd on open dvd tray then enter a 4 digit number ...select change region from menu that appears (this is an engineers menu so dont get tempted to play with other settings) then choose region free or 0 or 9 depending on the player...done
