I can't get rid of a stinky smell on the outside of my car.?

Yesterday I drove through what looked like loose tar on the road. When I got home I realized that it must have been something that dropped from a sewage pumping truck or some nasty cow manure. I've taken the car through the car wash, then rinsed the wheels with a hose and it still reeks. Any ideas re: how to get rid of that awful smell? I'm thinking it must have gotten inside the wheels???

I'm not being critical of you, but I'm sorry you don't have the gift of "smell". Time is the only thing that will cure this problem, and on the other hand you might be able to localize it and fix the one problem. All you can do is smell it all instead of find out where its really coming from. Good luck.
