Will my iphone sim card work easily in a Tmobile sidekick?

i have an iphone and i want to take the sim card out of mine and put it in friends Tmobile sidekick(or an unlocked one) i was wondering if it would work.

Because i tried it switching them and it told me i needed a sim card code and im not sure what that means or if there is a way to get around it or not...

If your Sidekick phone is asking for a sim code means it is locked to T-Mobile network..If you wanted to put your sim in your friends phone you need to unlock it with the help of ClassicUnlocking.com where they provide you with unlock code and free unlocking instructions...
