Every religion that ever was at some point has had an extensive history of violence.
You seem to be drawing a parallel between Muslims and violence, but what about Christians and violence? Isn't blowing up abortion clinics every bit as violent as any other kind of terrorism? No group or sect is innocent and incapable of horrible violence give the right circumstances.
