Every once in a while, my ear usually the left will clog, or become pressurized, like when you change altitudes quickly - as in flying or even going down a steep hill.

Usually when I fly or go down a steep hill it happens to both and then I chew gum and they pop.

This is when I am just sitting at home I feel the pressure build up in my ear and I try to chew or make noises or move my ear around and it alleviates slightly but then usually when I swallow or make some other incidental motion it fills with pressure again.

Can someone explain?

(I am a healthy individual with no chronic or serious medical problems)
