Please Help

My Laptop Is So Slow ,,,100% Used Of Cpu Even Though I Do Not Run Any Program

I Tried To Format Using My Recovery Cds ,,it Took Me 2 Days
But Did Not Help...
My Avg Anti Virus Did Not Detect Any Virus

It Did Not Shut Down By Itself
The Fan Did Not Make Any Noise

My Laptop Is Not Hot At All

However I Used The Laptop 24 Hours And Put On My Bed

Is This Because Of Virus? Or Over Heat ??

How To Check If I Have Over Heat Problem. Is There A Program To Do That??
