Why do people care what celebrities other people like?

People care about that stuff because celerities are public figures, and if you cant figure out what public means then let me tell you:

Now that i explained that, I'll just say that sometimes we need something to talk about, just like when we talk about people in our community, just like everyone at one point in our lives talked about another person, the differnce is that these people (celebrities) make their life public so it gives us the freedom to talk about it, it doesnt really mean that we care, we just talk about it, and no it really doesnt matter who they like or what they do, but you have to understand that everything is a busoness.
