how do i buy my sims a car in sims 2 double deluxe???

i hav recently started playin this game but cant buy my sim a car.....when i try to built the drive way it always comes out of bounds.....plz help

you need the sims2 nightlife

my advice is when you build a house, buy the driveway the first thing. put it in the western most part of the lot, then build the house to its right.
you then place the car on the driveway

and TIMOTHY is wrong: The Sims 2 Double Deluxe includes Nightlife
