Climate Change and London.??

The idea of climate change has always struck me as slightly arrogant of the human race, but the governments (local and national) are the most ludicrous and money grubbing.

Cutting carbon emissions by 60% is frankly impossible and implausible. And if it were to have an effect, which it wouldnt as the world heats and cools exactly when it wants to, the idea that cutting it alone in London is hysterical. It's a pointless waste of our money on commissions, tsars, and focus groups.

But then again, it isnt there money!

Politicians who sound "caring" appeal to the people who make decisions based on emotions rather than logic.

Even if the politician is wrong, even when there are no indications that "global warming" is real, and that there are no "consequences" due to this false assumption the gain is that individual will be giving up personal freedom and their hard earned money in additional taxes.

And when the ice caps come flowing down the Thames, these taxes will still be in place, and your freedoms forever gone. Global warming is just a scam to separate you from your hard earned money.
