    I have a 91 Acura Legend and my fan staid on for 4 hours and died out my...

    ...battery what is the problem?

    so what should i do....its my first car and i have no idea what to do

    I should agree with Jac.

    A faulty relay or a faulty temperature sensor.

    Since the temp. sensor is a non-moving part, it is more probable to be the relay. Relay for cars tends to be mechanical types.

    engine thermostatic is bad.
