What phone is better for a 14 year old kid? The iPhone or an unlocked sidekick?

Its easier to text on a sidekick, but Iphones are def the most hottest phones out the\re.

what the hell a 14 year old kid needs with a cell phone is beyond me, was of money really, but i suppose a iphone, i have an ipod touch myself and highly recommend it.

sidekick.....iphone is way too much $ per month for a 14-yr old. unlocked sidekicks are hard to use with networks other than at&t. but if you can get it working, definately go with the sidekick.
