a cool kids FL vacation? or should i pay for the trip? I cant decide if its bad to take the money that he saved and apply it towards a trip. I am not sure though if I can afford the trip myself...?
having him save his money is a good idea. getting him to pay for the trip is not. You are the parent and you should pay for it...he should use his money towards things that he wants like games, toys, souvenirs on the holiday, not the flight and hotel and admission..
if your son can save his allowance for a year, you should be able to put aside 20 bucks a week as well to pay for the trip
I think that's a good idea cause that teaches him to be independant and earn. Just make sure you give him plenty of applause for it, instead of making it seems like he's on his own totally and you're being real mean lol.
