Is the clocky alarm clock loud?

I am a really deep sleeper and is it loud?

Does it really run away?

It's not incredibly loud, but I'm a pretty deep sleeper and it's more than enough for me. It does run for a while, but after about 5 minutes or so it stops and waits for you to get it. I don't think it's ever made it more than about 10 feet from my bed.
