i just got my lg rumor and i just downloaded bitpim and it doesn't work for my lg rumor
any ideas of what i can do to get it to work

Get the LG USB Modem driver.
Choose LG 8600 from the phone list in BitPim (Will detect as Other CDMA Phone by default)
You should then be able access the filesystem.

Where do you find the linux version of the LG USB Modem driver? Do you have a link?
