I can only pay so much and my dad is willing to buy me the new phone. If I do need the plan, is there any other possible way to get internet on it?

Do I have to have the Sidekick Data Plan to use the internet on the Sidekick 2008?

Ya its 1 dollar a day or 25 monthly unlimited use only tmobile sidekick media package will make phone work properly unfourtunatley. Sorry they did it on purpose.

Then your not hooking in to internet probably. I only have that problem if i dont have internet access.
