Is it possible to hack an iPhone in order to get verizon wireless service?

I saw a video for it on youtube, but the guy does not actually explain to how to do it, he just sends you to a website, and when you get to the website, it seems an awefull lot like a scam...so idk if it is really possible, i'm not just going to spend $400 on an iPhone just to find out it's not really possible, so if any1 knows it would be a great help

Nope it's not possible to get the iphone on Verizon, the iphone is a GSM phone (uses sicmards) where as Verizon is a CDMA carrier (does not use simcards), they dont use the same technology and are NOT compatible with each other. You can only get the iphone with a GSM carrier such as T-Mobile (if unlocked).

Their are two main protocols for cell phone networks. CDMA and GSM. They cannot be mixed as they are entirely different. An I-phone is built to run on a GSM network, namely AT&T's network. Verizon Wireless is a CDMA network.

However, it can be hacked to work on any GSM network, including T-mobile.
