    how much mbps is in cable internet?

    im trying to look at how much id have to pay for internet and it doesnt tell me if its dial up or dsl or cable, it just says the speed..

    i just want regular cable internet-

    Cable is usually around 6-8bmps, and DSL is usually around 1.5mbps. Some ISP's, like Comcast, do burstable Cable up to 20mbps for the first bit of your download.
