I originally ordered the phone online with my new contract, after waiting a week on backorder I bought it at the store for the same discounted new customer price. When I receive this phone in the mail do I have to return it? Or can I sell it too my friend?
Don't sell it to your friend. Sprint sucks, you two should both leave that crappy company. They are dying. You might be able to return it if it wasen't opened. Stick to LG and Samsung when buying phones, stay away from sprint's crappy motorola and sanyo garbage.
Depends, if you got the phone activated at the store i would say yes...go right ahead! But, if the phone was being sent to you activated i would recommend you to do an ESN Swap to the phone you bought at the store and then resell it. Now matter what you would be able to sell the phone.
