iTunes/iPhone Problem! "the iphone software update server could not be contacted"?

I'm trying to update my friends iPhone for her via the latest iTunes.

Everytime she tries to download the 2.0 Update, she gets an error that says:

"The iphone software update server could not be contacted, make sure your network settings are correct"

Anybody have any idea if this is something wrong on her side of the comp, or maybe a problem apple/iTunes is having right now?

i got the same thing , for the last two weeks , we need help damn it
