How to detect if your house is bugged?

Unless she knows something about bugging, it might be hard to detect them on her own.
If she really believes it, then she could hire a security/bugging expert to check out her place. They'd likely know all the places that such things are hidden.
But I don't know if she'd want to invest that much money.
