    My blackberry pearl won't send texts,?

    My blackberry pearl 8100 will not send texts at all. When i try to send a text, it says invalade manatory information. I tried to reset the blackberry and it still will not send any texts.

    I have the same problem!! I have a blackberry pearl 8100 and i can't send text messages at all! I can get them, but I can't send them! I have at&t and have the standard text service on my account. I went to the at&t store to see if they had the answer to my problem, but all they said was dial 611 and ask for technical support. So I guess I'll try that. Hope this helps you!

    i have a new blackberry pearl and like you i can receive text but i cant send them i have a years free internet access and because i cant send text messages i cant send the message to activate it, any clues?

    i have the same problem , i can reciave text,but cant send any , it says invalid mandatory information.It is getting so annoying !

    Invalid Mandatory Information

    I was having this message come up and I figured it out:

    Yes, you do need a 1 in front of your number (Options > SMS)

    ALSO... you have to have the Data Services "ON".

    same problem black berry suck i think its the number for service center number

    Hey i had the exact same problem as all you guys!
    I found out it was because i'd changed my service centre number!
    so go onto options -> SMS and then down to service centre:
    the number there should be the number of your network provider.
    you can find this out by going onto the network website.
    e.g for example its : +47802000332
    Hope this helps

    Hey, I saw the last reply.
    And Idk about mine, because I have Rogers.
    And I live in Canada, so how do I found out my service number?
