Ya your Australian sim will work in Austria, Europe but, you need to pay for roaming charges.Instead of roaming charges you can buy a new sim card from any of Austria's service provider.
Austria's sim will work in your phone if it is an unlocked one,if not you need to unlock your phone with the help of UnBBlock.com where they unlock all models of Blackberry.
