Whats happening?

I got my belly button pierced just over a week ago and I want to know if this is normal or should I be doing something more about it??

I think its infected so ive been trying to clean it more. There is skin peeling from around the top whole and the top ball is half on top of the skin and half in the skin no longer sitting on top of the whole. It has made a small indent to which I can fit a cotton bud into it when im cleaning it. Its red but not sore!! Whats happening. This is the first time ive got it done so I really dont no if this is a normal part of the healing process or something more serious is going on?! thanx!! xXx

You need to see a doctor because it doesn't sound like a normal healing process.
