Wanting a gadget that will chop onions, tomatoes, or whatever into nice pieces...

...without making mush.? I would like to get something that will help chop up onions, peppers and even tomatoes (for salsa) into nice pieces. The processor I have now (which is old) basically shreds everything. I'd like something that will chop veggies. Basically along the lines of the As seen on TV....... TV chop wizard

Is there something better out there that I haven't seen yet? I don't want to buy something that will just sit in a cabinet.
