    dragging my bay?

    Hey anyone,

In the Pretenders song "Middle of the Road" they lyrics go:

I got a smile for everyone I meet
as long as you don't try dragging my bay
or dropping a bomb on the street

What does dragging my bay mean???

    thanks,
    H

feels along the line of a symbolic "dredging" of another's life as in R. Bergs answer to "dragging a lake" (Dragging the lake?)

"One definition of "drag" from the American Heritage Dictionary is "To search or dredge the bottom of a body of water." People do this when trying to find a corpse, a gun, a sunken boat, or something else that might be lying on the bottom and not visible through murky water.
