Does it cost money to download stuff to your phone from the internet?

I got the LG shine and I found a website that really does give you free ringtones, it sent me a link and i downloaded it from my phone, I'm not asking if it costs money to be on the internet, just if it costs money to download stuff even if its initially free

Usually your operator charges you by the KB or MB so ... say your operator charges 1p for each KB downloaded and you download a 1MB song... you would have to pay 1024p (£1.24) for the download.... even if its 100% free content

Yes it does...It depends on what kind of GPRS package are you using..
