Weather Underground has added local weather webcams to their site, with the option to add your own.
Almost every state in the Union is represented here with a wide variety of webcams available; anything from the backyard of a beach cottage to a high-rise apartment. In addition, thirty two different countries are webcam-ready, from Australia to Thailand. Click on a webcam, and you'll get archived images for the month as well as an updated weather forecast.
