i wanna add an amplifier and a subwoofer on my car but have no idea what to add. my rear speakers can handle 150 watts max each right now i only have 4 speakers but their upgraded. what kind of amplifier should i look for? and subwoofer? pls help
goodness now i'm more confused! its a 2005 toyota corolla with infinity speakers. im looking more for sound quality than anything else. i currently have the stock deck. i have a have a budget of about $500 for the sub and amp. maybe a 10 inch sub nothing too big

Depends what you want to go for loud or good sound? if it is loud then i would go with 1 or 2 alpine type - x sub woofers and 2 alpine 1507 amps those amps are harder to come by so you need to find something that runs 2000 watts RMS or 2 1000 watt RMS amps in a sealed box made for them. now for sound quality i would say 1 or 2 alpine type - r sub woofers in a ported box with 1 v12 alpine amp or any amp that runs 1000 RMS for 2 of them or one that runs 500 watt RMS for 1 type - R. I hope this helps

Need more info. What kind of car? What kind of music do you listen to? budget? How much space do you want to give up? What kind of speakers do you have in the car?
