My friend and I were arguing about blu-ray and 1080p
I just want to know, is blu-ray fancy for 1080p, is 1080p better, or is blu ray the best?

If you want to know which one is better, then you are getting mixed up.
1080p is a resolution (1920 x 1080), which means how many pixels there are.
Blu-Ray is a high-def disc, like a DVD, just much better!
