    Need car audio help?

I have an MTX thunder 942 amp hooked up to a mtx 7500 sub with a 8 gauge wire. I had the sub on when i was driving and all of a sudden the sub shuts off. I check all the wires in the amp and everything, its okay. I checked the wires in the sub. The 8 gauge wire fuse was okay. I thought it would be wires in the cd player dash. I took the cd player out and the wires were fine. I put it back and now the cd player doesnt even turn on. Any ideas or what i should do?

Sounds like u need a capacitor an a larger battery try a dry cell u said the deck is not coming on now so u should check your fuse box to see if u have any blown fuses.
