for moms...usefull gadgets...?

hello i posted a question the other day about boucers and swings..

well this time i was wondering if any of you moms out there know of things that honestly are helpfull
like someone suggested a laundry bag for the socks so they dont get lost and someone else said about a sheet saver..
if anyone has anything else to add to that list let me know so i can look into it

im a first time mommy to be and just kinda looking at everything and seeing what me and my boyfriend think.. we want to spend the money in the right places.. trying not to spend to much on things that are crappy or just not useful

I have a Diaper Depot, which is an organizer that hangs on the changing table and holds all the diapers, wipes, ointments, and lotions. It sounds silly but I would go crazy without it. They also make a stand-alone version.

I also highly recommend crib savers. If you have a baby that spits up or drools a lot, it saves you from having to take out the mattress and change the sheets every day.

A good way to save is not to buy many toys. Your baby won't really need them for a few months and then he/she will probably care more for items like burp cloths and the TV remote than his/her real toys. If you have a bouncer or play gym, you can always take the toys off and let your baby play with those, too.
