can i download music off the internet free?

well im trying to get some musice to my ipod shuffle but you have to buy everything in itunes and well long story short thats not possible not so many ppl in my country do that kinda stuff so if anyone knows anywhere i can get music free plz tell me

girl its called limewire lol. but watch out to get viruses though. then transfer the downloads to itunes and pop em on your i pod. but like i said...watch out for viruses
