    how do I set up a newreader program to read...

    ...newsgroups if I'm a yahoo sbc internet subscriber?

    Assuming you're logged in ...You need the NNTP settingshttp://help.sbcglobal.net/article.php?item=287It might not work the same for different subscribers. Manually:Go to my.yahoo.comClick the help link in the upper right of the browser window.Type news reader in the Search box (upper left).You should see an entry in the results:POP, SMTP and NNTP server settingsClick on that.
