bad economy& start punishing them? after all isn't it called whining when complaints lack actions in order to correct the problem?
who is responsible and how should they be punished?
would they dare to call us a bunch of whiners then?

The responsible ones are the Republicans, the Democrats, and 95 years of monetary manipulation. The best way to punish them is to vote Third Party. Let them know that we know that they are messing (for lack of being able to use a better word) up.
 
Yes. Acknowledging hard truths = whining, just like how questioning Bush and the Iraq war = anti-American.
