Iphone 3g: Rogers Plan?

Is there any simple 20-30 dollar plans for rogers when it comes to the iphone 3g? All i really need to do is text people. I dont need internet outside my Wi-Fi. Is there any at all???

the cheapest iphone plan is $60. The reason the phone is so cheap is cuz they make money off your plan.

No you need a data plan. If you don't get one, make sure you get Rogers to put a data block on your phone so data won't work on their network. You'll get a lot of areas where you won't get service (wifi phones are designed to switch from wifi to your network when you get in a non wifi area.. which can be out of town or even just your basement). However you won't incur horrendous data charges. Iphone uses a crazy amount of data.

Seriously, I work for rogers and had a call from someone who didn't put the data plan on right away and called in less than 24 hrs after he'd started using his iphone to order a data plan... I looked at his unbilled usage and he had over $1000 in charge already built up in less than one day!! That's something between 20-30mb!! It's the safari web browser and things like youtube that cause it's usage to be so much higher than any other data phone out there and why Rogers if offering the 6gb data plan on promo for $30 (only til aug 31!).

As for 20-30 plans? The lowest plan available is $25 and you can add a txt package on to that.

Just be smart... get the data block added on, and NEVER take it off without getting a data plan.
