my keyboard is malfunctioning!?

it only works during boot up, setup menu(f8 during boot up), or bios. NEVER THE LOGON SCREEN OR ANYTHING AFTERWARDS! help!

What kind of a keyboard do you have? USB, PS/2, Firewire (doubt it)?

Try taking it to Best Buy over to the geek section. They usually know how to fix it. If can't do that i suggest you get a new motherboard and see it that works. GOOD LUCK! =)

1) its probably not connected in correctly
2) go take it to p.c wearhouse
3) get a laptop, its newer, nicer, and more sufficient

reload the driver for it... enter in safe mode try that and get on the internet and redownload the driver for the keyboard.

keyboard a somewhat fragile. I would think of buying a new one. There not that expensive.
