I am 14 and never suffered tonsillitis before , i caught it off my friend . it is extremely painful and i dont have antibiotics . what will help it clear up fast?

Really need a n antibiotic,,, Why not? see doc for prescription. yes nasty and painful, Cant eat as throat too sore. Takes about a week to get better. Soothe throat with honeylemon linctus or throat pastilles but to cure it need the meds from doc.
