Will an unlocked iphone work for my '3' contract sim?

I've been thinking of getting an unlocked iphone off ebay and i heard that network 3 sim cards sometimes don't work with unlocked phones. its a contract '3' sim card.

Yes...all you have to do is place your current sim in the iphone and it should work as though you have always had your iphone!

Yes, it will work provided the unlock is proper. Sometimes the unlock method is not proper and hence there are certain malfunctions. I unlocked mine through Classicunlocking.com and was able to swap other simcards.
