This guy i know just bought the iPhone 3G and i want his old iPhone to unlock for t-mobile. the reason im asking if it works for Verizon is this other guy also wants it but im trying to prove to him that it wont work on verizon, so can someone back that up with some good information? thanks!

The iPhone works only with GSM networks. It does not accept CDMA network. If you want to unlock your phone, you can approach your network provider or third party unlocker, unBBlock.com and remove the network lock permanently.
