Iphone 3g?

my Uncle has both iphone 3G and Iphone 1 gen. he got his activated in the store. turns out now he doesn't want it anymore he wants to go back to his 1st gen iphone. so he just change the SIM card and his fisrt gen. And he says he will sale his iphone 3G to me for 0 but can i get it activated in itunes by swicthing my SIM card (my is 3G) will it work what will the charges be? please tell me step by step

Hey, Well you cant activated it via itunes anymore, but u can buy the 3g from him for $100, then take iphone 3G to AT&T and they will activate it for you... the data plan is $30 plus the minutes plan, and if u want texting it is $5-200 texts, $15-1500 texts, $20 unlimited

I'm not sure, but I think if your chip is from AT&T it may work.
