    verizon fios internet?

I switched to verizon fios about a year ago and it seemed to be working fine. But now, when i try to go to websites, sometimes its really fast and sometimes it is really slow and will not connect (browser shows "network not responding"). After clicking refresh many times, it will work but then when i click on a link or something, the same thing happens. Sometimes, it never connects and i end up having to restart my browser. Does anyone else have this problem?

First, Go to http://www2.verizon.net/help/fios_settings/optimizer/ to run a speed test. It will optimize the speed.

Something else to try is to turn off the router at the back where the switch is. Then unplug it from the outlet. Leave it unplugged 30-60 seconds. Plug it back in at the outlet. Then turn the switch back on at the router. Wait until all the lights that are normally lit up on the router on on. Then try the internet and see if it is any faster.
